Operations & Team Engagement Manager

About the Role

RunLoyal, a rapidly growing vertical SaaS company based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations & Team Engagement Manager to lead our remote team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and enhancing the engagement of our remote employees. You will play a key part in fostering a collaborative culture, optimizing productivity, and improving employee experience across tech, support, onboarding, and RevOps teams. The ideal candidate will be operationally savvy, a strong communicator, and passionate about building a positive, high-performing remote team.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Culture & Engagement:
    • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a positive and inclusive culture within the remote team.
    • Organize team-building activities, engagement programs, and initiatives that promote collaboration, morale, and well-being.
    • Serve as the point of contact for team members, helping resolve issues and promote healthy work dynamics.
  • Performance Management & Productivity:
    • Set clear KPIs for remote teams and track performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
    • Identify productivity gaps and implement solutions, including training, coaching, and process improvements.
    • Regularly review team performance and provide feedback to enhance individual and collective success.
  • Onboarding & Training:
    • Design and lead structured onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring smooth transitions and strong integration into the company.
    • Collaborate with team leads to create development plans for junior employees, supporting their growth through mentorship programs.
    • Create comprehensive training materials and conduct sessions to ensure employees have the skills to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Support for Remote Work:
    • Oversee remote team productivity by implementing systems for time tracking, communication, and availability.
    • Establish clear operational processes to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration between tech, support, onboarding, and RevOps teams.
    • Resolve operational challenges by developing and enforcing best practices that enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Recruitment & Hiring:
    • Work closely with the recruitment team to streamline the hiring process for tech, support, and other roles.
    • Assist in screening candidates, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates who align with the company’s culture and operational needs.
    • Help create a strong talent pipeline and ensure that new hires are properly supported.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Additional qualifications (e.g., MBA, HR certifications) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of experience in operations management or team engagement, particularly in managing remote teams.
    • Experience in SaaS, tech, or customer support environments is preferred.
    • Proven track record in performance management, culture-building, and driving operational improvements.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on remote team engagement.
    • Ability to implement process improvements that lead to enhanced productivity and collaboration.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Slack, Zoom, Jira, or similar platforms used for remote team management.
    • Experience with performance management tools and employee development strategies.
    • Familiarity with recruitment and onboarding best practices.
